Representations in Misfits

Representation is misfits are shown quite negatively, such as youth culture. It is a story of a group of teenagers that has committed several crimes and has got themselves arrested and has been sent to do community work. There are 5 representations of teenagers in misfits, first of all: Kelly. Kelly represents a class of people called ‘Chav’, she wears a lot of jewelry and seems to be on the lower classes of people, she uses a lot of slang language, her facial expression within most scene is like she is unwilling to cooperate with teammates, and her body language shows that she has a bad attitude towards people. Simon represents different from the other in misfits, he does not fit in a specific stereotype, and he does not like to communicate with each other, he sometimes threaten the audience with a cold stare to the camera, he is dressed smart but his body language is quite casual.  Curtis represented as an athlete, who is found in possession of drug, he dresses with his jump suit down showing his athlete figure. Nathan representations is of his talkative nature but in a negative way of insulting those around him without care, he dresses quite casually, his body language is quite rude in a way. Alisha is represented as a night girl, kind of gangster and doesn’t really care about anything, she sees everything quite boring and her behavior towards other are no quite as positive. So youth representations in misfits is represented in a stereotypical way.
