Music Composing

Hans Zimmer

What was Hans Zimmers intention when making this soundtrack? (0.30 for clues)
He wanted to compose a music that the audience will hate.
What qualities did Hans Zimmer want the music to have (try and find at
least three)?
1. He want to music to draw the audience into Joker's story
2. He want the audience to know who Joker is going to appear on screen
3. Real edgy music
4. Razor blades and string instrument (cello, violin) create tension
5. Keeping the same batman style music, no to punk or rock
6. Minimum play a possible

How do you feel about the final score and explain why you feel it
work/doesn’t work.

The sound effects of timer ticking creates tension among the audiences, like it is counting down to something. When the timer stops ticking, an disruption or an negative event will occur due to the silences, though it shows signs of relieve, though a jump scare will surprise the audience.
Evaluate what you have learned from this task and how it might impact
on choices made when coming to create your own soundtrack.

On listening to this, i would like to try to implement different soundtrack and experience with the target audience first before launching to film, i would like to see the audience on edge at all time more than relax and at times. (Only Applies in Thriller, Horror or Action for me).

Why does Kyle Cooper believe the Vertigo credit sequence is so effective?

Pick out at least 3 things Saul Bass attempted to do with his credits sequence (e.g. set the tone of the film)

His greatest advice to any graphic design students is to learn to draw or gonna live life around that, drawing and implementation in communication to help communicate for do jobs because once you get a job you would eventually feel like at a certain time in your  life would wish you knew how to draw.
